Affiliate members of the SCCAR do not practice real estate but are in fields which work with the real estate industry (i.e. mortgage brokers, lenders, movers, plumbers, appraisers, stagers etc.)

For current pricing information please contact us at 831-464-2000 or email kkirwan@mysccar.org. SCCAR Dues are billed annually in November and due by the end of the year. A portion of our dues is prorated throughout the year.
MLS FEES
You must be member of the MLS prior to getting a key. Please join them online at http://mlslistings.force.com/apply


New Member Requirements for REALTOR® Applicants

Thank you for your interest in joining SCCAR. In order to expedite the processing of your membership application, please be sure to include the following with your completed application signed by your Broker (or Manager) and the following items that apply:
  • Copy of your real estate license.
  • A letter of Good Standing from your primary/former association, if you are currently a member of NAR with another local REALTOR® association.


Processing

Applications are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Once completed, you will receive emails containing:
  • A copy of paid receipt
  • Your login credentials
  • Information and reminder to complete the New Member Code of Ethics online course.
  • Information and reminder to attend the required New Member Orientation class.
  • Links to benefits and additional information


Code of Ethics, New Member Orientation

Attendance is a requirement of membership and must be completed within thirty (30) days of joining. Members are entitled to membership services and benefits prior to attending.
  • New members will register for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics New Member Online Course.
  • When you complete the online course, NAR will provide a certificate of completion.
  • Proof of completion is required to attend the New Member Orientation class at SCCAR. You are required to email the certificate to kkirwan@mysccar.org prior to the class.


Supra Lockbox and Key Information

SCCAR offers all MLS participants the Supra System. Sturdy, reliable and secure key boxes hang on your listed properties to allow only authorized REALTORS access for showings. Contact us to speak about purchasing a lockbox. We offer 3 types of Supra key service:
  1. Xpress Key
  2. eKEY Basic (app)
  3. eKEY Pro (app)


Annual Association Dues and MLS Fees Billing

Association Dues
Members will receive their annual Association Dues Renewal Invoice annually and typically in early November. Invoices are sent via email, payable by January 4th and late fees begin January 5th.

MLS Fee
Participants and subscribers will receive their annual fees notice and invoices directly from the MLS.

Supra Key Fee
This service is billed for in early April and typically due on April 30. A late fee goes into effect on May 11.
